YAARN
Wool-Derived Biostimulant (4-0-9)
A wool protein-hydrolysate liquid biostimulant built for stronger emergence, faster stress recovery, and rapid forage regrowth across row, specialty, and forage crops.
How Many Acres Do You Need to Treat?
Based on ~32 acres treated per 2.5 Gallon Jug (275 Gal Tote Available).
What It Does
YAARN pairs hydrolyzed sheep-wool proteins with peptides and free amino acids to prime plant metabolism, fuel early growth, and support recovery from abiotic stress -- right when the crop needs it most. It delivers stronger emergence, in-furrow vigor, foliar stress recovery, and faster regrowth after forage cutting.
Why It Works
Bioactive peptides from wool prime metabolism and stress response, while free amino acids provide ready-to-use building blocks for growth, recovery, and chlorophyll synthesis. The 4-0-9 analysis delivers slow-release organic nitrogen with mobile potassium to support season-long resilience.
When to Apply
On row crops (corn, soybeans, wheat, cotton), apply in-furrow at planting at 6 oz/acre, or foliar between V2-V5 or ahead of expected abiotic stress at 10 oz/acre. On forage crops (alfalfa, perennial grasses, hay), apply 10 oz/acre 3 days after each cutting to accelerate regrowth and stand recovery. On specialty crops (fruit, vegetable, vine, tree nut), apply 10 oz/acre foliar from early vegetative through stress-recovery windows, repeating as needed.
Application Rate
6 oz/acre in-furrow; 10 oz/acre foliar
Best Uses
- Stronger emergence under cold, heat, drought, and other environmental stress
- In-furrow vigor for a stronger start to the season
- Foliar stress recovery after heat, drought, and abiotic stress
- Faster cutting regrowth in forage crops like alfalfa and grasses
Tank Mixing & Compatibility
Foliar application in a minimum of 10 gal water/acre by ground or 3 gal/acre by air. Tank-mixable with most common crop inputs. For agricultural and commercial use only. Jar test recommended with high-salt starter blends.

Technical Information
YAARN is manufactured through controlled hydrolysis of sheep-wool keratin protein, producing a peptide and free amino acid profile distinct from soy- or plant-based hydrolysates. Available in a 2.5 gal (9.46 L) jug or 275 gal (1,041 L) IBC tote; custom packaging options may be available.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes YAARN different from plant-based biostimulants?
YAARN is derived from hydrolyzed sheep's wool (keratin protein), giving it a distinct amino acid and peptide profile -- including higher sulfur-amino acid content -- compared to soy or plant-based hydrolysates.
